Troops Support Construction at Bhikku Care Centre at Kandy

Troops of the Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Training School, Kandy under the 11 Division gave their support for the ongoing construction work of the Dagoba at Badrawathi National Centre for Bhikku Care at Galaha, Kandy on Monday (19).

In response to a request, forwarded by the Chief Incumbent at the Badrawathi National Centre for Bhikku Care, the troops offered their labour assistance on the instructions of the Commander, Security Forces-Central for a day and 11 Division General Officer Commanding (GOC).

A total of 21 Army personnel, including one officer and 20 other ranks supported, taking building materials such as sand, cement, wire rolls, etc to the top of the hill.
