Troops at the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) organized a visit to the Kilinochchi Base Hospital to coincide with the ‘World Mothers’ Day’ on directions of Major General Amal Karunasekara, Commander, Security Forces-Kilinochchi (SF-KLN) on Sunday (8).
During the visit, 30 mothers just after delivery at the Kilinochchi hospital were given gift packs and a nutritious lunch.
Brigadier H.D.W Kariyawasam, Commander, Forward Maintenance Area (FMA-KLN) together with Brigadier R.M.P.J Rathnayake, Brigadier General Staff (BGS), Brigade Commander, 574 Brigade, Commanding Officer (CO), 6 Sri Lanka Women’s Corps (SLAWC), Chief Coordinator of Civil Affairs at the SFHQ-KLN and other ranks attended the event.
