Troops Provide Lunch Treat to Pooneryn Hospital Inmates During 'Shramadana'

66 Division troops of the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces - Kilinochchi (SF-KLN) and the close supervision of Brigadier D.C Keppetiwalana, General Officer Commanding (GOC) 66 Division, conducted a ‘Shramadana’ campaign inside the Pooneryn Provincial Hospital premises on 01 January 2017.

The aim of this Shramadana campaign was to promote civil-military relations and foster goodwill among civilians.

During the same project, cooked meals were also served to the patients and hospital staff on account of the dawn of the New Year. Troops beautified the premises by planting flower plants in pots and by cleaning them.

Brigadier D.C Keppetiwalana, GOC 66 Division, Colonel M.G.A.N.B Mahatuwakkara, Colonel General Staff, 66 Division also joined the Shramadana campaign, together with many senior officers and troops from under command Brigades and Battalions.
