An awareness programme on ‘Handling and Conservation of Documents’ got underway in conjunction with the Department of National Archives on Monday (18) at the auditorium of Signal Regimental Center following an initiative of the office of the Chief Signal Officer.
The lecture focused on how to archive and conserve Army related documents which are important to the organization.
The lecture sessions were delivered by Mrs Dilini Liyanage, Assistance Director and Mrs K.H Ashoka, Craft Assistant of Department of National Archives.
Senior Officers, Staff Officers, Other Rankers representing Branches, Directorates and institutions attended the programme.
