A recent simple ceremony, organized by 622 Brigade troops, saw 2 steel cupboards, worth of Rs. 22,000.00/= were donated to the Helambawewa Preschool on Friday (3). Mr Gamini Perera, a philanthropist provided financial assistance. Commander and Civil Affairs Officer of 622 Brigade coordinated this event.
Moreover, an education development programme, during 04- 05 July for the school children who are going to sit for the grade five scholarship exam was conducted by Mr Jayashantha and Mr Ananda Rathna kumara from the education section of National Museum Department.
92 students attended the seminar held at Kiriibbanwewa school on Saturday (4) and 214 students participated in the seminar at Jayanthiwewa school on Sunday (5).
