Around 16 Army personnel of the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-Cen) in one more instance of public service, took immediate steps to bring a fast spreading forest fire under control in the general area of Dowa in Bandarawela Divisional Secretariat, Badulla District on Thursday (21) morning.
The fire that broke out Thursday morning (21) was brought to the notice of the troops of the SFHQ-Cen who reached the area swiftly and brought it under control.
