Major General A.A.I.J Bandara, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 54 Division during a visit to the Sri Vijaya Thilakaramaya buddhist temple in Mannar gave away a stock of dry ration packs among the needy on Wednesday (3).
Symbolically, he offered one pack to the incumbent of the temple, Ven Wilachchiya Wimalarathana Thero at the beginning of the project. The rest was shared among low income families in Kondaichchi village in Mannar.
