Troops of the 142 Brigade of the 14 Division under the Security Force Headquarters-West (SFHQ-West) on Tuesday (3), initiated the Phase I of the workshop on Disaster Management and Relief duties at the 14 Division auditorium, Attidiya for officers and other ranks of the14 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI).
16 officers and other ranks of the 14 (V) SLLI who attended the workshop were enlightened on measures that should be adopted in the event of a disaster, evacuation and rescue of victims, immediate relief measures and post-disaster measures, etc. during this workshop that will go on till Friday (13).
