Tamil National Alliance (TNA) Wanni District Member of Parliament (MP) Hon Charles Nirmalanadhan met Major General Kumudu Perera, Commander, Security Forces - Wanni on Monday (13) and commended the Wanni troops for maintenance of law and order in the wake of brutal terrorist attacks and post-violence developments in the region.
The Parliamentarian spoke high of the efforts taken by the Security Force Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W) to provide security to Wanni people during the critical phase and how the troops remain dedicated for promotion of reconciliation in the entire region.
Major General Kumudu Perera expressing his appreciative remarks for his articulation of those compliments vowed that Wanni troops would continue to conduct search operations in order to rid the region of any explosives or terrorists.
