Three Sri Lanka Army athletes who attended the recent Ayala Philippines Athletic Championship and the South Korean Open Athletic Championship - 2018 won one Gold and two Bronze medals in different events.
The Army-produced national athlete, Corporal M.M Dilipruwan of 1 Gajaba Regiment in the 400 m Men’s event in the Philippines won Gold with a time frame of 46.87 seconds while Corporal M.G.A Premakumara of 17 Gemunu Watch in the same 400 m event clocked 47.65 seconds and was placed the third with a Bronze medal.
Meanwhile, another national athlete who represented the Sri Lanka Army in the South Korean Open Athletic Championship, held during June 16 - 17 won Bronze in the Long Jump event, recording a distance of 7.73 m as the third place winner.
Private G.K.D.S Piyarathna of Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (SLEME) accordingly won the Bronze medal in the Korean Athletic Championship - 2018, held in Yecheon Public Stadium, Yecheon, South Korea. jordan Sneakers | Sneakers
