They Listen to Variety of Lectures in Mullaittivu

More than 45 Officers and 250 Other Rankers of all under command establishments in the Security Force Headquarters - Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) on Monday (19) listened to a variety of lectures, organized at the 68 Division Headquarters following an initiative taken by the Commander, SF- MLT.

Those lectures on specialized fields of 'Drug Prevention', 'Responsibilities of Soldiers for Reconciliation', 'Suicides, Accidents and Preventable Injuries' were delivered by Mr Chamara Pradeep Karunarathna of National Dangerous Drug Control Board, Mr Samantha Nilmalgoda, Senior Instructor on Psychology and Brigadier D. G Hewage of the Army.

Lecturers in specific areas of specialty underlined the need for change of our attitudes, approaches and mindset on the techniques of life as responsible guardians of the nation. Several Senior Officers were present during the sessions.

Meanwhile, the same lecturer at the request of the 59 Division on Tuesday (20) went to the 59 Division Headquarters and delivered the same lecture to nearly 40 Officers and 317 Other Rankers serving Brigades and all formations under the SFHQ-MLT.

Major General Ruwan Wanigasooriya, General Officer Commanding 59 Division graced the event as the Chief Guest.
