They do it at Ambalangoda Swim Too



ARMY swimmers, just a couple of days before they showed colours at the annual Wellawatta swimming competition, made another record during the Ambalangoda Dharmaasoka Swmming Meet.

Overall Championship Trophy for the male category was clinched by Sri Lanka Army along with the Trophy for Defence Services during the event.  The swim covered a distance of two miles.

Meanwhile, another two mile swim organized by Sri Lanka Association of Water Sports bagged the Overall Championship Trophy by Army swimmers. Army swimmers also won the Defence Services Trophy and the H.P.N. Challenge Cup.

In both these tournaments, the Trophy awarded for the Best Disable Swimmer was won by Corporal S.K.N Silva, 4 VIR. Here follows separate places won by Army swimmers during both Swimming Meets.
