Promoting civil-military relations further in the Akkaraipattu area, more than 60 Task Force - 3 soldiers and 64 civilians donated blood to the bank at Ampara General Hospital at the request of medical authorities in the hospital.
The event at Ampara Uhana Junior school saw more than 122 pints of blood collected following the project launched jointly by soldiers and civilians in the area.
