Teenager’s New CD, 'Ranaviru Ape' Dedicated to War Heroes Presented to Commander

A new album (CD) of three songs, 'Ranaviru Ape', dedicated to the memory of fallen War Heroes and all serving War Heroes by the teenaged singer, Pahan Tharusha of Ja-Ela was presented to Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake, Commander of the Army on Thursday (31) at the Army Headquarters.

Produced by Mr Dammika Madampage, all three songs had been composed by Yomasha Chavindhi at the request the singer himself who has a high regard for War Heroes. Mr Lalith Samantha of ‘Seeduwa Sakura’ added music to the lyrics.

The Commander during his meet with the singer, Pahan Tharusha and both parents at the Commander's office thanked him and his producers for this thoughtful gesture which serves a tribute to all fallen and serving War Heroes in the country.

Giving a patient hearing, the Commander took time off to listen to those three songs in the presence of the young singer, together with his parents, other visitors and the Military Assistant and lauded his talents.
