Mr. Heinz Walker-Nederkoorn, Ambassador of Switzerland in Sri Lanka called at the Security Force Headquarters-Jaffna (SFHQ-J) on Monday (16) during a visit to the North.
On arrival at the SFHQ-J, the visiting envoy was warmly welcomed by Major General Nandana Udawatta, Commander, SFHQ-J.
During the meeting, the Commander, SFHQ-J made the ambassador aware on the current roles and tasks of the Army and the security situation in the Jaffna peninsula including the economy, demography and the civil administration system.
