Swiss Delegation Meets Jaffna Commander

A Swiss delegation, headed by HE Heinz Walker - Nederkoom, Swiss Ambassador for Sri Lanka and Mr Damiano Sguaitamati, the First Secretary (Political) at the Swiss embassy visited the Security Force Headquarters – Jaffna (SFHQ-J) on Monday (12) during a tour to the North.

Major General Dharshana Hettiarachchi, Commander, Security Forces – Jaffna (SF-J) had a cordial discussion with the delegates after they were warmly received at the Commander’s office.

The Commander, SF-J briefed the delegation on ongoing reconciliation projects, rehabilitation and reconstruction work, including roles of the Security Forces in the Jaffna Peninsula.
