PRESIDENT Seva Vanitha Army Branch (SVAB) Mrs. Manjulika Jayasuriya called on Mrs. Kusum Wickramanayake, President Seva Vanitha Branch of the Prime Minister office at the PM’s office Wednesday (28) morning.
This was Mrs. Jayasuriya’s first official meeting with Mrs. Wickramanayake after the former assumed office as President SVAB.
Both of them discussed measures that have already been taken to promote the welfare of War Heroes and their families and various other programmes in progress at different levels.
Mrs. Jayasuriya gave a briefing on the SVAB proposed wellness resort for totally disable soldiers to come up in Anuradhapura to Mrs. Wickramanayake. Two Seva Vanitha presidents as tokens of their goodwill exchanged mementoes to mark their meeting.
