CEYLON Knit Trend Limited (Hidramani Group) donated a stock of about 1200 stums socks and 142 commodes worth Rs. one million to Seva Vanitha Army Branch (SVAB), to be distributed among War Heroes who had lost their limbs due to terrorist attacks during Humanitarian Operations.
The donation was made during a simple ceremony held at the SVAB auditorium Thursday (29) morning. The donation was received by the Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya, President SVAB Mrs. Manjulika Jayasuriya and the Director Army Rehabilitations Brigadier S.A.D.S Warusawithana.
