A workshop to educate students of Mulnkavil National College and Mulankavil Primary College on ‘Prevention from electrical risks and use of electricity sparingly’ took place at the 651 Brigade Headquarters, following arrangements organized by 11 battalion of Gajaba Regiment (11 GR) together with Mulankavil Police Station on Monday (26).
This awareness programme was conducted under two phases for the benefit of school students. More than 500 students participated in both programmes, coordinated by 11 GR.
The programme was organized under direction of the Commanding Officer, 11 GR in coordination with the Superintendent of the Police (SI) Mr Ariyawansha, Officer in Charge (OIC) Mulankavil police.
