Student Officers in Counter Insurgency Jungle Warfare Course at Maduruoya Visit Jaffna

Twelve local Officers and six foreign Officers from Bangladesh, Pakistan, Maldives and Nepal following the Counter Insurgency Jungle Warfare Course (CIJW) at the Maduruoya Army Training School (ATS), visited the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) on Monday (26).

On arrival at the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J), student officers attached to the CIJW course at the ATS, Maduru Oya were warmly welcomed before a presentation on 'Handling of Post War Scenario in SFHQ Level' by the General Staff Officer I (Ops & Trg), Lieutenant Colonel Nishantha Muthumala was presented.

At the end of the session; student officers presented a memento to the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) and later on visited de-mining sites at Muhamalai area as the final event of the day.
