Sri Lanka Army wrestlers emerged National Championship from National Novices Wrestling Meet, 2014 in both male and female categories at the Sport Complex, Sports Ministry, Colombo.
The male wrestling team, clinched 7 Gold medals, 2 Silver medals and 7 Bronze medals and the female wrestling team clinched 5 Gold medals, 4 Silver medals and 3 Bronze medals in different weight categories.
Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Chairman, Sri Lanka Army Wrestling Committee commended the achievements gained by all wrestlers.
