Sri Lanka Army Judo players in the recent International Judo Tournament in Bangkok, Thailand performed extremely well securing one Gold, one Silver and one Bronze medal.
Sergeant K.L.C.K Leemagastenna of 8 Sri Lanka Armoured Corps (SLAC) carried a Gold and Private S.A.N Bandara of 6 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) succeeded in bagging a Silver medal.
Lance Corporal S.A.M.A.D Sameera of 19 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) meanwhile made the country proud by collecting a Bronze medal.
The two-day tournament, competed by a large number of Judo experts, representing more than 25 countries was attended by above players representing Sri Lanka Army Judo Pool.
Several officers from the Sri Lanka Army Judo Pool were at the airport to receive them who made the organization and the country proud.
