Spanish Coach Offers to Train Army Muay Thai Boxers

A reputed Muay Thai coach from Spain, Arjan Pedro Solana Villalobos who has offered voluntary training for Sri Lanka Army Muay Thai boxers is expected to arrive in Sri Lanka on 21 July at his own cost, following the approval to this effect was granted by the Commander of the Army at the request of the Sri Lanka Army Muay Thai Committee.

This Spanish coach will conduct four day-long training session for Army boxers free of charge at 4 Sri Lanka Signal Corps premises until Tuesday (July 24). Organized and coordinated by the Directorate of Army Sports, the training sessions will get underway with the blessings of Major General Manoj Mudannayake, Chairman, Sri Lanka Army Muay Thai Boxing Committee.
