The closing ceremony of the Inter Regiment Taekwondo tournament of the Army took place on Friday (27) at Panagoda Army Physical Training School.
Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) won the overall Championship (Men) while the runners-up place went to the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps (SLASC).
In the women’s sector, 5 (v) Sri Lanka Women’s Corps (SLAWC) emerged winners and carried away the Championship. The runners up were 2 (v) SLAWC players.
In the novice sector, Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) players clinched the Championship. Its runners up were Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) players.
In the open and novice sectors, following players did well and were awarded trophies.
