SLMA Officer Cadets Visit SLSR Headquarters in Ambepussa

Officer Cadets under training at Diyatalawa Sri Lanka Military Academy (SLMA) (Intakes-85,86) made a field visit to the Regimental Center Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) at Ambepussa on Friday (9) as part of their familiarization component in the curriculum.

The SLSR Center Commandant, Brigadier Ajith Pallawela, together with Staff Officers at the Regimental Centre, SLSR welcomed those visiting Cadet Officers and Officer Instructors to the RHQ premises.

A presentation was conducted by Lieutenant Colonel W.L.A.C Perera, Deputy Center Commandant, RHQ SLSR on the directions of Major General Piyal Wickramaratne, Colonel of the Regiment, SLSR, in order to provide the visiting Cadets with an overall picture of the roles of the Sinha Regiment after they arrived at the Headquarters.

61 Officer Cadets, 5 Course Officers and 18 members of Other Rank Instructors joined the tour to the Sinha Regiment Ambepussa.

Before their departure, Officer Cadets presented a memento to Brigadier Ajith Pallawela, Centre Commandant, SLSR as an appreciative gesture.
