SLMA Officer Cadets Visit SFHQ-West

Officer Cadets under training at Diyatalawa Sri Lanka Military Academy (SLMA) (Intake-84) made a field visit to the Security Force Headquarters-West (SFHQ-West) on Monday (20) as part of their familiarization module in the syllabus.

A presentation conducted by Major R.M.L.A Rathnayake SFHQ-West on the directions of Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander, Security Forces - West provided the visiting Cadets with an overall picture of the roles of the SFHQ-West after they were welcomed to the premises.

Brigadier J. Thanthiriwaththa, Brigadier General Staff SFHQ-West, Brigadier M.A.A.D Sirinaga, Brigadier Admin and Quartering, SFHQ-West and other senior staff officers also participated in the occasion.

40 Officer Cadets 4 Course Officers and 10 members of the civil staff joined the tour to the SFHQ-West.

Before their departure, the Officer Cadets presented a memento to Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander, Security Forces - West as a symbol of goodwill.
