SLEME Seva Vanitha Holds ‘Miyasi Ravaya’ at Nelum Pokuna

Sri Lanka Mechanical and Electrical Engineers (SLEME) Regimental Headquarters in collaboration with the SLEME Seva Vanitha Unit (SVU) with a view to further strengthening its coffers, to carry out more welfare roles for its disable War Heroes and family members of fallen War Heroes, staged a mega musical show on Sunday (27) at the Nelum Pokuna, auditorium.

Mrs Rasika Rajakaruna, Chairperson, Sri Lanka Mechanical and Electrical Engineers (SLEME) Seva Vanitha Unit welcomed the day’s Chief Guest, Mrs Nayana De Silva, President, Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU), together with Lieutenant General Crishanthe De Silva, Commander of the Army as a special Guest of Honour at the entrance.

‘Miyasi Ravaya’, the musical event saw veteran songstresses and vocalists, Dr. Victor Rathnayake, T.M Jayarathna, Samitha Mudunkotuwa, Nirosha Virajini and Umariya Sinhawansa colouring the event with their soothing melodies.
