19 Army cricket coaches who successfully completed the Grade 1 Army Coaches’ Course, held last year by the Army Cricket Committee, attended a practical workshop during Sept 30-Oct 1, 2014 at Panagoda Army Cricket Ground.
Mr Heshan de Mel and Mr Dulip Samarasekara of the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) conducted coaching and lectures during this workshop.
With the backing received from the SLC, the Army Cricket Committee expects to produce more national level cricketers and offer better opportunities for training.
