SLASC Organizes Awareness Programme on ‘Mental Health & Moral Conduct’

Directorate of Psychological Operations which has been launching multifarious educative and awareness programmes for the benefit of All Rankers in the Army, once again went to the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps Regimental Centre at Panagoda and conducted a workshop on ‘Mental Health & Moral Conduct’ for 4 Officers and 120 Other Ranks on Wednesday (12).

The workshop focused on ‘Enhancement of mental and physical well-being’ was addressed by Army and Civil lecturers.

This ongoing project initiated by the Directorate of Psychological Operations commanded by Brigadier M.D Wijesundarehas so far conducted more than hundred such sessions across the country.

Major U.P Mallawaarachchi, Captain R.M.R.R.K Rathnayake, Lieutenant P.A.C.P.K Peduruarachchi and Mr. Ajith Nawagamuwa (Programme Coordinator- Alcohol and Drug Information Centre) contributed to the workshop at the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps Regimental Centre at Panagoda.
