The finals in the Inter Regiment Hockey Tournament of the Army, organized by the Army Hockey Committee drew to a close this evening (16) at Astro Turf, International Hockey ground, Colombo 7 giving a dazzling win to the players in Sri Lanka Army Service Corps (SLASC).
The final tussle for supremacy was competed by Sri Lanka Army Service Corps (SLASC) and Military Intelligence Corps (MIC) amid a gathering of hockey fans of respective Regiments.
Major General R.V Udawatta, Deputy Chief of Staff graced the final event as the Chief Guest at the invitation of Major General Shavindra Silva, Chairman, Army Hockey Committee.
Award of trophies to the achievers took place in the closing ceremony that followed. Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Colonel Commandant, MIC, a large gathering of officers and other rankers were there to provide encouragement to their fellow-players.Running sports | Archives des Sneakers
