Officers and other rankers at the Security Force Headquarters - West (SFHQ-West) started its Special Infantry Operation (SIO) Course - 55 at the SFHQ-West.
Lieutenant Colonel W.M.P Weerakoon, Commanding Officer at 7 SLE addressed the gathering during the opening session.
The SIO Training programme’s Engineering aspect ended on 15 February where Major K.A.D.P Sugathadasa, 2nd In Command (2IC) of 7 SLE delivered the lecture.
A total of 62 Army personnel, including 5 Officers and 57 Other Ranks participated in the training programme.
Lieutenant M.B.J Kumara scored the highest marks in the Engineering section.
