Army Inter Regiment Table Tennis championship representing 11 Army Regiments under 10 events was held during 21-23 August at Panagoda Army Cantonment Indoor Stadium.
Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC) players (men’s category) carried away the Championship in the tournament after competing with the Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) players, who were the runners-up.
In the women’s category too Sri Lanka Army Signal Corps ladies (SLSC) players emerged overall winners and claimed the Championship Trophy. Woman players of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps (SLAWC) were adjudged the runners-up.
Final encounters were witnessed by Brigadier K.R.P Rowel and a gathering of officers and fans.
