Troops of the 9 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) of the 571 Brigade organized a Shramadana campaign on Saturday (6) to clean the Durgai Amman Kovil and its premises in Barathipuram under the guidance of Brigadier A.S Hewawitharana, General Officer Commanding, 57 Division and under the supervision of the 571 Brigade Commander.
The campaign was organized with the intention of further strengthening of bonds of goodwill of devotees and assist Kovil trustees and civilians.
