SFHQ-West Organize Eye Clinic

Troops of 4 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) of 583 Brigade under the 58 Division of the Security Force Headquarters-West (SFHQ-West) organized an eye clinic for the patients in Bulathkohupitiya area in Kegalle District on Wednesday (16) at Sri Vissuddiaramaya, Bulathkohupitiya.

Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander, SFHQ-West graced the inauguration ceremony as the chief guest.

A total of 432 patients received spectacles during the clinic which was conducted by the eye surgeon Dr. Nimal Weerakoon, together with Mahanuwara Optical (pvt) Ltd under the supervision of Major General K.C. Gunawardane, General Officer Commanding, 58 Division and Brigadier Randula Hathnagoda, Commander, 583 Brigade.

Senior Officers, Commanding Officer, 4 SLSR and government officials attended the event.
