Security Force Headquarters - Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) with a view to broadening the knowledge on climate arranged a workshop on ‘Global Temperature and Climate Changes’ under the guidance of Major General P. U. S Vithanage, Commander, SFHQ-MLT for Army personnel serving in Divisions, Forward Maintenance Areas (FMA), Brigades and Units of the SFHQ-MLT at the SFHQ-MLT auditorium on Tuesday (28).
Brigadier D.S.A Dehiwatta, Brigadier Admin and Quartering (Brigadier AQ) attended the event as one of the key observers.
Mr H. D Gamini Priyantha, Assistant Director, Disaster Management Unit, Mullaittivu District also delivered an interesting lecture.
More than 200 Army personnel, Navy troops and Special Task Force troops attended the day’s event.
