SFHQ-KLN Gets Push Bicycles for Kilinochchi Students

Troops of the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) in coordination with the Lions' Club of Negombo Orient’ distributed a stock of push bicycles among Kilinochchi students during a brief ceremony, held at Harmony Centre in Kilinochchi on Wednesday (14).

During the event, 25 students of low -income families who arrive at respective schools for studies from far remote areas received push bicycles free of charge under the patronage of the Lions' Club of Negombo Orient.

Major General Ajith Kariyakarawana, Commander, SF-KLN graced the occasion as the chief guest for the distribution ceremony, together with past District Governor Lion Camilus Fernando, 1st Vice District Governor Lion Dewa Peter, District Deputy Cabinet Treasurer Lion Placidus Peter, Club President Lion Savithtri Peter and club Secretary Lion Victor Stephen.

Major General Duminda Keppetiwalana, General Officer Commanding, 66 Division, Major General Vijitha Ravipriya, General Officer Commanding, 57 Division, Major General Kuma Peiris, General Officer Commanding, 65 Division, parents, teachers and several officers were associated with the occasion.
