The Katina Cheevara Pooja Pinkama at Samiddhi Sumana Vihara, Jaffna for the third time was held during 17 - 18 November.
The events in the Pinkama included the Katina Pooja, an all-night Prith Chanting and an alms giving.
The Pinkama was organized by the villagers of Jaffna with the assistance of the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) troops with the guidance of the Chief Incumbent Ven. Hanwalle Rathnasiri Thero.
On the directions of Major General Priyantha Jayasundara, General Officer Commanding of 52 Division, Battalions under the 523 Brigade provided meals to devotees who took part in the Pinkam.
