SFHQ-J Gives Helping Hand to Jaffna Job Seekers

Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) with the sheer intention of exploring possibilities of getting employment openings for the unemployed in the Jaffna Peninsula, facilitated the conduct of two ‘Employment Awareness’ workshops at the 6 Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC) Battalion premises and the 523 Brigade Headquarters of the SFHQ-J on Friday (23).

Through the personal coordination, done by Major General Mahesh Senanayaka, Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna (SF-J), representatives of the MS Marketing Solution (Pvt) Ltd from Colombo were in the peninsula in order to screen potential job aspirants, to be recruited as Marketing and Sales Executives against handsome salaries.

The programme, designed to improve their command, information communication skills and attitudes for Marketing/Sales promotions, attracted 55 Jaffna youths. The programme at 6 SLSC had 21 attendees while the 523 Brigade’s arrangements drew 34 young men who wanted to start a new career.

Mr. E.M.S. Soyza, Managing Director and two other staff members of the MS Marketing Solution (Pvt) Ltd elaborated on potential marketing opportunities and job prospects, available in the industry for inspiring youths.

Several staff officers of the SFHQ-J attended the sessions, in addition to the job seekers.
