SFHQ-J Facilitates Multi-Religious Conference in Jaffna

A cordial multi-religious conference, intending to promote religious amity, understanding, harmony and cooperation among all four major religions got underway at Sri Naga Viharaya, Jaffna on Friday (17). It was facilitated by the Security Force Headquarters Jaffna (SFHQ-J).

This was the second such consecutive conference, held in Jaffna during this year.

Most Venerable Thirikunamale Ananda Maha Nayaka Thero of the Amarapura Sri Dharmarakshita Nikaya representing members of the Maha Sangha presided the sessions. Members of the clergy of Catholic, Hindu and Islam contributed to the sessions.
