Elementary English Course No 4 organized by the SFHQ-J recently ended at the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J).
With the intention of enhancing the knowledge on English language, the course was conducted for 30 officers serving the Battalions in the SFHQ-J.
Major General Mahesh Senanayake, Commander, Security Forces –Jaffna (SF-J) graced the final awarding ceremony as the Chief Guest and awarded certificates to student officers.
Major General Mahesh Senanayake, stressed the value of learning English during his talk to the attendees.
Students depicting their English skills in a mini concert including English speeches and Dramas coloured the event.
General Officers Commanding (GOCs), Commander, Forward Maintenance Area (SFHQ-J), senior officers and Lieutenant Thushara Anthony, Instructor of the English Course, Mr Sri Rajkumar and Mr Srithar, Civil Instructors and officers serving the SFHQ-J witnessed the occasion.
