A mega musical show ‘Miyasi Rathriya’ organized by the Security Force Headquarters - East (SFHQ-E) to be in line with the opening of 180 development projects under the ‘Pibidemu Polonnaruwa’ district programme of the Presidential Secretariat got underway at Manampitiya ‘Maithree’ grounds on Thursday (2) evening.
The musical show backed by the Army beat group thrilled the gathering until the small hours on Friday (3) with the participation of several popular vocalists.
During the course of the musical show, Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake, Commander of the Army graced the evening as the Chief Guest, together with the Inspector General of Police, Mr Pujith Jayasundara, Commander, Security Forces - East, Major General Santhusitha Pananwala and a few distinguished guests.
