SFHQ-C Troops Spearhead Several ‘Shramadana’ Campaigns

A Shramadana campaign was conducted on Friday (13) at the Pattuhupitiya Maha Vidyalaya at Ganga Ihala Korale Divisional Secretariat by the 2 Sri Lanka Rifle Corps (SLRC) of the 111 Brigade under the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-C).

The campaign was held under the directions of the Commanding Officer, 2 SLRC and troops of the unit gave their unsparing contribution to the campaign.

On Saturday (14) another similar Shramadana campaign was conducted by the 12 Battalion Gemunu Watch (GW) under 121 Brigade of the SFHQ-C at the Maligawila Purana Rajamaha Viharaya in Moneragala District.

The Shramadana was supervised by the Commanding Officer, 12 GW and the Chief incumbent paid his since gratitude to the troops for the help.

Another charity programme was launched by 22 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) troops under the 112 Brigade of the SFHQ-C.

Supervised by the Commanding Officer 22 SLNG, the troops conducted a Shramadana campaign at the Ricastan Shrine, Ambagamuwa on Sunday (15) and renovated the temple floor.

The chief incumbent invoked blessings on the troops and the Army.
