SFHQ-C Troops Assist in National Tree Planting & Clean Temple

Troops of the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-C) contributed to the The ‘Wana Ropa’ National Tree Planting Programme which commenced under the auspices of President Maithripala Sirisena in Kotmale on 11 October.

About 100 troops involved in the programme and planted 200 tree saplings near the Kotmale Reservoir area.

Meanwhile, troops of the 18 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) under the 12 Division at the SFHQ-C conducted a ‘Shramadana’ Campaign to clean up the premises at Viharamahadevi Maha Seya Viharya, Kataragama on Saturday (10) on account of the Army Day.

The monk praised the troops for their assistance.
