Troops of the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-C) assisted the National Dengue Prevention Campaign which was conducted during 07-13 January on the directions of Major General Sumedha Perera, Commander, SFHQ-C.
Army personnel serving under the 11 and 12 Divisions, engaged in Kandy and Hambanthota areas joined hands together to control this deadly epidemic with the assistance of Medical Officers, Policemen, Samudri Officers and Public Health Inspectors (PHI) in the area.
The National Dengue Control Unit of the Health Ministry assisted the Dengue Prevention campaign which is still on.
