Two formations under the 11 Division of the Security Force Headquarters-Central (SFHQ-C) conducted two many welfare projects on 14 and 17 September.
Troops serving the 2 Sri Lanka Rifle Corps (SLRC) under the 111 Brigade conducted a ‘Shramadana’ campaign to clear the surroundings in the Roman Catholic School, Kandy on Monday (14).
Meanwhile, another ‘Shramadana’ campaign was organized by 2(V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) to clear the surroundings in the ‘Singithi Sevana’ Childern’s Park at Mahaiyyawa, Kandy on Thursday (17).
Both campaigns were conducted under the supervision of the commanding officers of the respective battalions.
