Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) serving as Regimental Sergeants Major (RSM) and their equals at formations under the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J), attended a two-day training programme on Friday(18) & Saturday(19) at Thalsevana Holiday Resort, Kankasanthurai.
The training programme invited on a concept of the Commander of the Army and under the directions of Major General Nandana Udawatta, Commander, SFHQ-J was held with the intention of improving leadership qualities and positive thinking of Senior NCOs.
A total of 53 Senior NCOs in the ranks of Warrant Officer I & II participated in this training programme where they shared their experiences during discussions.
A Dinner night at Thalsevana Holiday Resort culminated the training programme. Major General Nandana Udawatta, Commander, SFHQ-J graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
