Major General A.P. De Z Wickramarathne, Commander, Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-C) after assumption of duties visited his formations on Wednesday (2).
The SFHQ-C Commander made his first visit to the 11 Division where he was warmly welcomed by the General Officer Commanding. A Guard Turnout to be in line with military formalities presented by the troops of the 5 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) saluted the Commander, SFHQ-C at the Division Headquarters premises on arrival.
Subsequently, the visiting Commander planted a mango sapling to mark his visit to the 11 Division Headquarters.
The visiting Commander addressed the gathering including Major General D.S.N.K Senadheera, GOC at 11 Division, Brigade Commanders at 111 and 112 Brigade Headquarters, Commanding Officers, other officers and other rankers.
He later attended an all-rank tea arrangement before he left the 11 Division Headquarters.
