Secretary Defence Appreciates Tri-service Commitment to 'Ranaviru Real Star - Mission IV'


The architect who made the ‘Ranaviru Real Star - Mission IV’ a resounding success appreciated the commitment and dedication of the tri-service personnel shown and presented appreciative tokens of gratitude and lauded their roles Wednesday (27) evening at a special ceremony, held at Battaramulla Waters Edge Hotel.

Mr. Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Secretary to the Ministry of Defence and Urban Development as the mentor of this world’s one and only reality show of the tri-services, in the company of Army, Navy and Air Force Commanders, praised all tri-service personnel and gave away tokens of mementoes and congratulated them on their meticulous roles for the success of the ‘Ranaviru Real Star - Mission IV’.

Lieutenant General Daya Ratnayake, Commander of the Army in a brief address to the occasion thanked Mr. Gotabaya Rajapaksa for creating a mega spectacle of this nature as a tribute of the bravery of tri-service War Heroes.
 
Lieutenant General Ratnayake also praised each and every tri-service War Hero who worked tirelessly for the success of the entire show.

The ceremony ended with the award of special mementoes to all stakeholders of the programme and the awarding of the second prize (new car) to the first runner-up Leading Air Craftsman M.G.N.M.D Dayarathna of Sri Lanka Air Force.
