NORTH & EAST: CONTINUED search and clear operations conducted by the troops in VISUAMADU, SUGANDIPURAM PUTHUKKUDIYIRUPPU AKKARAYANKULAM and MULLAYAWALAI areas during Tuesday (10) recovered twelve hand grenades, one anti tank mine, twenty-nine rounds of peddle gun ammunition, eight anti personnel mines, two claymore mines, four Rocket Propelled Grenades (RPG) and one thousand rounds of unidentified ammunition.
Meanwhile, Troops in KANCHIKUDICHCHIARU in the east recovered one Sub Machine Gun (SMG), one pistol, five hand grenades, seventeen anti personnel mines, fifteen anti personnel mine fuses and one 10-ft long detonator code.
