The Kendagasmankada Primary school, situated in a very remote area in the Lunugamwehera Divisional Secretariat in Hambantota District received school accessories donations following a project launched by the Army.
A total of 112 needy students at the Kendagasmankada Primary School received gift parcels from staff members and past pupils of the Samudradevi Balika Vidyalaya, Colombo on Monday (13) at the school premises, following coordination done by the 12 Division Colonel General Staff.
12 Division and 122 Brigade officers and other ranks assisted the donors in the Samudradevi Vidyalaya to organize the programme.
Several Army officers, other ranks, past pupils, teachers and donors of the Samudradevi Balika Vidyalaya and students at Kendagasmankada School participated in the project.
